hey i have put all new injectors and glow plugs in my 1987 6.9. prior to this it was runnin really rough and back fired hard enough to break windows. now iam gettin white smoke and crankcase pressure that knocks my oil pressure to zero. the motor has 310 thousand milea on it. headgasket or what?

 

how many miles are on the pump?

also how would the cc presure knock oil pressure to zero?

also when was last time pump was timed?

 

White smoke is raw fuel but it can also be engine coolant burning for instance HG's blown or dribbling injectors could be injecting alot of fuel. Blue smoke would be oil but you said white just giving some more info.

 

at idle, at speed, at startup, when?

there is about 50000 miles on pump ! i figured out oil problem crap in sendin unit ! pump was timed when put in !

 

this white smoke, does it smell of coolant? or just fuel?

ok ! white smoke fixed ! bad injector ! Now i got oil running out tail pipe and oil pressure is low and drops off to nothin ! only blows gray smoke at higher rpm.
