Default Buddys new 12V

ok guys my buddy is going to pick up a dually reg cab 12V this week. I want to know what he should do to make a reliable sled puller/towing machine. He wants to keep it a single turbo. I was thinking 4 or 5k gsks, a custom fuel plate grind, about a 10 or so, a set of injectors and some turns on the the ol smoke screw. Any other ideas or is that a pretty good start? I dont think he wants to dump a lot of money into a turbo yet though.

on the question of trans mods. I dont actually know what it is. I think he said its a manual but I am not for sure. So probably a better clutch. and gauges are a definite and kdp will prolly be one of the first things to have checked out. I need to find out what exactly there is done to it and what year it is to find out what dvs it has in it and little stuff like that.

its the pin used to line up the timing case, it will eventually fall out over time.

do a quick search and you will find tons of info about it
