Just Wondering cuz dads got the Edge Race Module and the DPF wont go into regen says code P2002 or something so i set back to stock to take in will they know??

 

If they look deep enough they can find that it has been programmed.

 

Even if you unhook batteries and clear memo???

 

Talked to a friend of mine that works on new diesel's and he told me there is a tattle tale section in the computer that remembers everything done to the truck. Even how hard you accelerate and stop. Don't know if the 6.4 is the same but I would say it is.

 

Well My 6.0 dont tell on me But what truck did he say that was on??

 

He works mostly on buses that run the new Cummins in them but he does work on all of them. He was telling me that all your new vehicles will tell on you. From how he was talking the computer will remember every thing you do to it and when you do it. I don't know if your 6.4 would tell on you but it would be to big of a risk for me to do it.

 

Idk Edge Told Me that they could just basically say that a scanner had been hooked up to it they said there was no way to tell if it had been tunned so i guess if they find out then it will be edges fault cuz what happend is we deleted the DPF and it idled at 900RPMs so i put DPF back on and now it wont go into regen so its the tuners fault but hopefully i can just get it reflashed and warranty will cover it but if it dont and DPF is bad Then Its gonna Be EDGES *** I dontrecomend Edge to anyone ive had nothing but problems with the EVOs and Juice with attitude is getting dominated by Quadzilla Adrenaline my buddy andy has Jw/A on his 2002 Cummins and His EGTs Run 200 degreas higher than my Buddy Justins 1998.5 Cummins with Adrenaline Plus Adrenaline Performs WAY better and WAY better Safety Features on the Adrenaline

 

That may be true that they can't tell if it has been tuned.

 

Ether way Just save yourself the trouble and never ever run Edge Products

 

don't quote me on this but iirc with the 6.4's it pops up with a battery disconnected code and thats about it but if they want to find out they can look in a few places depending on how **** they want to be. I had a programmer on my 6.4 but everytime it went into the shop it had a fried pcm and tcm so they couldn't really pull any codes out of it.
