Default goin to the drags need advice ????

got a 83 359 pete new 400 big cam gen 3 #10 button all jacked up 13spd 3.55 rears and str8 8inchers im goin to the truck show this weekend and planning on dragin it a few passes need info on to chain rears up or not got 4bag pete air leaf set up i launched it in 5th a few times but didnt get all the way in it kinda feels like it wants to hop a bit so should i chain rears up or throw more air in the bags ? any input will be useful my first time drag racin rig

wow i dont much about dragging but i think that would be fun to watch only advice i have take a deep seat and a forward look

watch the rears. a few buddies race theirs at englishtown. afew have snapped axleshafts. not during the race, but weeks or so later.

stage shallow and leave before the last yellow is off to get a good light, listen for your class to be called and get into the correct staging lane. take white shoe polish for numbers on window and dial in. always check scoreboard for your dial in before making a elimination pass so it matches the one you put on your window, take a helmet as some tracks say you need one even for street class'. make sure you have a overflow can for radiator. just a few, have fun
