whats best to remove spray on bedliner

Default whats best to remove spray on bedliner

my front bumoer was coated in bedliner, and the guy used a real cheap kind. whats the best way to remove the bedliner so i can paint it and get rid of all the bare spots that are starting to show a lil rust

you also can use dry ice blasting.

yeah ed that stuff is hard to get off it would need to be blasted

If it's like duplicolor or herculiner xylene will remove it. they sell it in gallons at sherwin-williams for a good price.

Take the bumper off and torch it That would be what I would try. I would bet that if you heated the back side of the bumper it may peel right off. Not sure tho. It's always amazing how something like that peels in places so the rest should come off easy. Right? Wrong!! the rest of it is stuck like a fat kid on cake

i used a STRONG pressure washer. took most off. rest i hit with wire wheel. my flatbed is coated in the duplicolor stuff.

Try a propane torch and paint scraper.
