Default torque converter

so well i shot myself in the foot. i bought this truck and the tranny only had 18000 miles on it and was some what beefed up. motor bone stock, so i have been working my little bit of diesel bombers up grades on it. found out it has a pdq (junk) converter in it. still shift good and not slipping. question is can i slide my 100 fuel plate back in the middle and drive like a saint for the next three months with out damaging anything while i save for a vb and new tc converter?

Should be fine. you can leave your plate forward if you want... tranny life is directly effected by how you drive it, Drive it like a saint and it would probably last a year or even longer....pound on it and you could be parked tomorrow
