Well I was fueling up at the interstate the other day when I spied these two big @$$ (11pass???) ford vans pull in...the first thing I noticed was the front end Just a scaled down truck frontend...the only question I have is...do these things get the 6.4? I know the old vans got 7.3's and 6.0's...but what about the 6.4's?

 

Never seen one of them before looks like they make some room for the grill there

 

I think it looks better than previous E-Series vans.

Answer is.... 4.6 in the E150 and E250 Standard. The E 350 & E450 will be standard with the 5.4. Optional will be the 6.8L V10. No mention of the 6.4.

I'm pretty sure they are still putting in the 6.0's. The 6.4's dont fit, there too big.

 

they can't put the 6.0 in though...doesn't meet emissions standards. I sure wouldn't dream of buying one of those beasts without a diesel.

I think the new front end looks kinda masculine

 

The new vans will not recieve the 6.4. They are going to produce the 6.0 in the van til '10. After that you will only beable to get gas motors in the vans.
