glow plug issues

Default glow plug issues

my glow plugs are not turnin on and off now is this the glow plug contoller or is this the glow plug sensor and if its easily bypassed so i can turn them on and off by hand then can someone please tell me how to do it thx

The controllers on the 6.9's are notoriously unreliable. I do not know how to manually set wire them up but someone else surely does. You might want to test your glow plugs as well to make sure you dont have to many bad ones as that will fool the controller into thinking they have heated up. Hook a test light to the positive battery terminal and then touch the other end to the connector of a glow plug. If the light comes on the glow plug is still working, it may not be working great, but at least you will know it's doing something.

sorry bud i got all brand new ones so it shouldnt be the glow plugs
