Never seen this message before in my truck. Just recently put a lift on and ever since the light comes on after a few mins of driving whether I hit the brake or not. I have checked the fluid and all the ABS wire connections but nothing seems to make it go away. Anyone ever had this problem or know how to get rid of it? THANKS

 

is it the ABS light? Mine stays on from the time the key is turned over... I have an 8" lift... and my prev. gasser Silverado's light would come on sometimes and stay off others... I never had problems stopping tho, so i never looked into it...

 

the abs and brake light in the dash come on after the key is on for a while no exact amount of time. the cluster pops up and says "SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM". no trouble stopping pedal feels normal just wasnt sure if anyone else had this problem.

 

Yeah, my gasser did that too... I don't know what causes it, but likewise, no problems stopping... I wanna say i heard once that, your brakes will override your (faulty) ABS system anyways... Idk for sure tho...
