Default Today's adventure

So I was cruising into town after work earlier today, not beating on my old 7.3 IDI at all, when all of a sudden I lost 90% of my forward drive. Limped it into the local high school parking lot (not the one I go to, fortunately) and created this massive Florida-shaped mess on the ground caused by a broken transmission line. Coincidentally I bought two cases of ATF last week because I've been meaning to flush the trans, and a roll of 5/16" fuel line and clamps for my '77 Porsche 924 today - so I happened to have everything I need to fix it temporarily and get me home. I guess the trans is flushed now, hahaha. Enjoy and be happy it wasn't you...

wow that was very lucky of you to have everything you would need to fix that problem in your truck ... talk about being prepaired for anything
