Default 92 dodge 1 ton automatic

Hey guys I just bought a 92 ram 350 with an auto. As a rule I'm against buying a truck to pull with that has an automatic but I couldn't pass on it for the price and the miles at 140,000. I have a 30 ft flatbed gooseneck that I pull and I'm wondering besides wanting to boost the power a little bit nothing crazy what do I need to do to this transmission to get to hopefully 200,000. The previous owner pulled a 5th wheel camper with the truck and it seems to shift nice and solid now. Fluid looks fairly fresh and I pulled my other truck back across the state of Minnesota with out any troubles. Wat do ya think?

If you leave it alone powerwise your tranny probably has a pretty good chance of making at least another 60,000 miles or probably more, If you start herding more ponies out of you engine than I would look into getting some kind of aftermarket billet converter and if nothing else a trans temp gauge is a must. And drive it like an adult, keep up on changing the tranny fluid and you should be just fine
