Default what mods for a 215 to make 500hp?

so i have a 215 pump that needs new dvs and maybe some other stuff, im going to get it rebuilt and replace my 160hp pump with it. my goal is to make around 500hp with the pump what do you guys recommend having the shop do to the inside of it? should i find some stock 181s for it or go with 191s?

ya i figured on doing something for the turbo and injectors, but the pump needs to be rebuilt as it is and its already off the truck, so i might as well do it good

Nothing wrong with a 160 pump it would make 500. I would not swap 215 plungers into the 160 pump, you would be better off keeping everything as it is but swap in a cam from either a 180 or 215 pump.

its not that bad

i used to tow cars with my silver bullet ( 66/74/14) on my 12v with a stock head and cam. Really was not as bad as everyone said.

The 180 and 215 pumps have the same cam.

i already took the 181s out and put them in my 160 thats y it will need new dvs, also i wasnt really talking about taking the pumps apart and swapping parts-just swapping the entire pump, doesnt the 215 have the 12mm lifters and what not? or what makes it so much better than the others?

just thought it would be a better pump to use than my 160
