hey all got a 1991 f250 witht the 7.3 and i ran it stright piped or a few miles and liked it but the cops around here don't like it so i'm lookin what mufflers would sound good any suggestions?

 

Straight thru glass packs....it covers you on the law to have a muffler in place but still gives you a good sound IMO. I run a straight pipe on mine but i also have the turbo so the noise is low as is.

 

any straight through muffler should be good.

40 series flowmasters sound damn good on em.

 

that sounds good im thinking cherry bomb glass packs into 4 or 5 inch stacks any ideas?

get a bullet muffler. forget who they are made by. but thats what i used. they are only about 14 inches long. best part is the outer housing of the muffler is perfect 4 inch around. so 4 inch ID pipe fits right over it.

 

anyone know where to get a set of good mufflers i tried to do the cherry bomb and didn't kike it sounded to high pitched. i love the deep sound of stright pipes but the cops don't.

 

How long were the glasspacks you tried? They come in various lengths and the longer they are the quieter they get.
