Question New Truck

Ive always been a chevy guy, but really hate the way the new ones look and feel...kinda faggy...Been looking at a new Cummins 2500 long bed crew cab, and, well, love the truck, but hate the idea of spending $40K on a truck that Im going to have no warranty on because I WILL NOT put up with emissions BS causing problems. All the chevys I owned have been modded away from that, cpu's removed, mechanical systems installed, etc; but they were old when I got em and all. My question is, honestly now, how many problems do these motors have? If I can make it out of warranty without having to call a wrecker or walk with all the emissions bs in place I will do that, but, if theres a chance of the thing leaving me sittin, well,

I have a MIG and cutting torch, there is nothing that cant be removed...

I drive hard, mileage is great, but excitement and fun are much more important...

As for the interiors of the new dodges, are they worth a pinch? Dash boards and door panels don't fall off like the old ones did hopefully...
