Pulled my turbo today to rebuild it and it was nothing like what i was looking at on the instructions on how to rebuild. looked at the number and it was different than a hx35. It says Holset 1BK4N just wondering if anyone new what turbo this is.

 

Does it have a v band clamp instead of a snap ring to hold the compressor housing on?

 

could be a WH1C. what are the other numbers on the plate?

Those are the only numbers on it but it says holset and from the out side it looks just like an hx 35 but on the inside it totally different. I should have taken pictures but a guy told me that it might be an industrial turbo.
