just wouldering if gear oil in the tranny get to low it will start grinding a little right b/c mine is grinding just a little in 2,3,4 when rolling to a stop and grinds like hell in 5th all the time

 

have you checked it and how many miles is on it

 

it been 60,000 mile ago sence i had shop change oil in the tranny and i have not checked it sence there is 496,000 on truck not sure on the tranny

 

i would check it, mabey syncros are getting bad, probably alot of miles on it

 

change the fluid, if it doesnt change then its time for a rebuild

one way to find out. top it off. or go ahead and pull one of the pto covers off, and and do a visual check on what ya can see, feel around in the bottom of it when u pull the pto cover see if u any feel any metal chunks.

 

yes do that sounds a lil like syncros to me
