how much is normal to pay at a shop.. is it had to do? what is involved in a valve job?

 

not sure on the cost ... but you will have to pull the head, and your truck will be down for a while. If its your DD the best thing to do would be buy another head ( used or new) and send that one to a shop. Then just swap the two and sell your other one

 

it takes an experienced tech to do a valve job if your truck isnt missing or running real bad then its not nessicary

 

no she runs mint... it has 290,xxx on it.. thought if it wasnt to much work i would do it. but nevermind all that work
