Default Cheapest way to lift my rear-end higher up?

Whats the easiest way to lift my rearend higher? My buddy lifted my rearend up w/ a fork to move it with the engine off and that thing looked like a Billy lifted!! So whats the cheapest way to jack my rearend up maybe 6" or so?

Cheapest and 6 inches? Probably those cheesy bracket things that lower the leaf spring from the back.

that will completely jack up the rear pinion angle youll blow through u joints like its your job. to do it the right way just put 6" lifted leaf springs in it. will cost a couple hundred bucks but itll save you in the long run. i guess you could do 6" blocks if you really wanted to but i WOULD NOT do that in my own truck. even at the cost of blocks, custom made u bolts and hardware, its just worth it to leaf springs. that will make all your angles correct and things will be much better.

cheap and lift kit is kind of an oxymoron though. when you put your own life and others on the line, jimmy riggin suspension is not a safe thing to do

Where could I get a suspension kit that works? Should I search for your everyday normal 6" lift then?

6in lift blocks would b the cheapest....ur better off with new leaks with 6in lift built in... but thats not the cheapest.. if u have a 2wd the only diff in the rear suspension is the 4wd has lift blocks well atleast thats the diff between 4wd and 2wd on the 3/4 ton. but there not 6in.

how many inches of blocks or how many blocks are there then? There isn't anything wrong with using blocks?
