Default help.

any help will be very much appreciated... ever since i installed me gauges if my truck sit for more than 24hours or so the batterys die and the truck wont start.. i have to jump it.. the gauges are installed the exact same as a buddys truck and his are fine.. i taped onto the the wiper fuse for one of the gauges and pwr windows for the other 2. i put on new battery terminal ends... cleaned the terminals on both batterys.. also did a tc lock switch at the same time as the gauges. any help would be great thank guys .. oh and the batterys are gold series napa batterys and they are 3 yrs old in march.

and i tried diconnecting the gauges off the battery and the batterys still died.

sounds like your batteries were getting a lil weak anyways. have you load tested them?

no i havent yet but i am going to later today.. i thought it was weird it was good till i did the tc lock and gauges... and both went bad at the same time and there only 3 yrs old.

they probably put an extra load on them and when the extra load was added then they went out. also check your alternator just in case it isn't charging like it should. i've known lots of batteries to go out after 2 or 3 years.

try the lock up switch remove the wire that does away with the relay

you mean pull the wire i taped on...that runs to the switch?

id stop by orielys or an auto zone and have them load test ur batterys individualy. thats the easyest place to start

both batterys were bad... i found the reciept... 2years and 3 months old... never buying napa gold batterys again
