overflow valve

How do you know when your overflow valve is weak or bad what are the problems you start to have.

your fuel pressure will drop and you can have low power issues

I'm pretty sure they go bad like every 50k miles or 100k miles or something. My truck has 256k miles and still has the stock ofv so I'm contemplating replacing it just for the heck of it

Where exactly do you get that from? Theres a pretty big difference between 50k and 100k. There is no set life on these things.

I dont remember what I was told. It was something like 50k miles but I dont remember. I'd have to call that guy and ask. The springs get weak and start giving out
