Default Problems with....just about everything

So i got my dodge out the shop and now i have a transfer case rear seal leak. Is that on me or should shop shop fix it? Also, my truck will take awhile to start. I turn the key and its a honest two seconds of waut tu tutu tu, cranks and baahhhhhh. Could it be from the timing bump? Any help would help

my timing is set at 16 and on my truck it does take a little longer to start. i believe its from timing. of air in fuel system. did ya check that out?

i just went through the whole intake track (wipin oil off of everything as i go) and cleaned my air filter. It started the same. maybe bad fuel cuz yesterday it didn't seem like it was as rev happy as it normally is. The water in fuel light comes on often and i drain it twice weekly. Guess its the timing

are you giving the gas pedal a little loving when trying to start..??

12v arent like the newer trucks.... give it a little gas when starting it after its been sitting for a while... thats what i do to mine... 2 pushes on the gas pedal when i start it up and its on.

what did you have the shop do to it? did they have to do anything to the transfercase?? if so.. then as long as it didnt leak before they need to fix it..(sometimes they mark on the paper work that it was leaking prior to service)

if they did not touch the transfercase then they are not going to do anything about it. and it could of just start leaking as soon as you got it back. sometimes that happens.

i'll try the gas blip for starting.

They install a new clutch, 4gsk, set the timing to 16* and gave me a tune-up on my pump. But i watched the guy put the drive shaft in and he splined it and let it hang there while he gather the bolts for the next step. it just comes out of a weep hole in a rubber wiper seal. Not sure why but right after that is the rear seal...right?

that is totally normal as far as starting goes with the timing bump.

as for the rear seal, since they had the tcase off the truck it should be on them to fix it.
