Hey Im new here, just joined a munite ago & was hoping to get some help on what wires to tap into for the lighting on my guages. Also for the pyro gauge where do i tap the power wires into? Ill be mounting them in a pod that goes on the dash right up by the windsheild so im not sure how to route the wires either. I could probably figure all this out on my own once i take it apart but i figure theres probably someone whos already done it & could give me some tips before i get into it. thx

 

look for the wire on the back of your fuse box that is hot when your dashlights are one for your gauge lights and find a hot wire when the key is on for your pyrometer and pulled my wires through where the original wire loom comes through the cab hope that helps a little

 

Ok thanks. Yeah i havent even tore into it yet. I think im gonna try on Saturday. How are ur gauges mounted? Was the actual routing of the wires fairly easy?

 

yes put them between my dash and door frame and thats where my gauges are mounted a little above the corner of the dash
