lookin into a LBZ.what are some of the MPG you guys are gettin?are the older LB7 or LLY gettin any better MPG.any magor issues with these motors?how does the 6SPD manual work with these.I kown there rare but i was kinda lookin for one of those.any feed back is great...thanks

With the current tune its getting an average of 16 with 90 percent town driving.. o the highway it gets 20-22 depending on traffic.. Stock it was hard to get it to read the average of 12.. i have never had an issue with them and think they are the best duramax to date.. no injector problems no overheating and can make good power without alot of the mods the lly and lb7 require..
Also i have never driven one with a manual.. I dont think i have ever seen a manual duramax

n yes the made them with 6spd manuals.from 01 to 06.maybe some 07 classics not sure tho.
