Just curious.. what kind of issues could be caused from a leaking front cover? Obviously oil loss is a possibility. But what else?

An advantage to a leaking front cover is that you wont have many rusted bolts. Im fixing a leaking timing cover this week, wish I had known about the kdp before it broke cover.

When ever you leak a fluid there is a chance foreign particles can get in where the oil is getting out.
