Default H/O vs stock injectors

I have a 98 chevy I am putting back together and have to put injectors in. I am debating on going back stock or putting high output injectors in it. I have some chines injectors read to much bad stuff about them to put them in the truck probably going to install them in the scrap bin. What I want to know is what kind of improvements or not people have had with th h/o inj. Has mpg went up or down? Was toeing better with stock or h/o? Normal driving better or worse? Cold start easier or harder? The truck will be used for every thing driving, and will need to be able to haul heavy loads and tow at least 13000 pounds on a trailer. The coast of the h/o injectors is a couple of hundred dollars more and because I don't have a endless supply of money if there not worth it or will hurt all round use I will just stay stock. I know all trucks are different had 4 6.5 and 2 6.2 none of them have ever been the same. Just trying to get some ideas. Also thinking of putting 4 inch exhaust and a new ecm from heath on it so if you have any input on that or other things to improve the truck I would like to hear it.

save your money and dont buy marine injectors. only heavily modified vehicles need them plus they kill your ip faster because of the pressure needed to open them compared to the stockers. a simple chip like a towing ecm from heath and an exhaust are not going to give you much more power with marines injectors. that 40 horespower increase is a bunch of bs.

maybe 40 horsepower over 150 k miles stocker injectors that needed to be replaced at 100k and are very worn but not brand new genunine bosch stock injectors. stock to marine injectors you may gain 5-15 hp. nothing you will really feel and nothing that will help you very much towing 13k loads.

save the money you got from buying stock injectors and get a water/meth injection kit. its a must when hauling heavy loads.

Would you still run the ecm and 4 inch exhaust or not? Power is nice but not main thing mpg is. I drive no less than 25,000 miles a year and every dime I can keep and not put in the tank or send to Uncle Sam is good. How good will a stock 6.5 handle water/meth its probably going to be a military engine so it should be stronger?

I wonder where they pull the h/p of injectors out of to. A fish bowl or somewhere worse?

yeah i would run a reflashed ecm and 4 inch exhaust. thats what im getting next. if keep the methanol to a minimum to stop predetoniation in the precombustion chambers or none at all it should be fine. it will lower your egts which lengthen engine life. t

he higher output marine injectors are just injectors with higher pop pressure due to the combo of shims and springs in the injectors. dont buy any other injector brand except bosch, standadyne, and delphi. everything else is just chinese junk and it will leak.
