I have an 88 F-250 Ext cab long bed. How much should it cost? Also, the bed is rusted through where fender flares would go, and the same for the rocker panels below the rear side windows. How much should that part cost?

Are you planning to fix the rust? If you are then fixing the rust will cost you at least 500-600 in just parts from lmc truck and the paint any where from 1000 from macco to 3-4k from an auto body shop.

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking unless I can trade labor or something, or just do it myself, I'm not gonna spend more than the truck's worth to paint it.

try a tech school that does auto body....they usually will do the labor free all you have to do is buy the paint and bondo ....witchita and topeka both have tech schools that do that stuff.

Brindle, that'd be a good idea, especially since I'm on North Rock road, but I can't be without my truck long enough for them to use it as a teaching tool.

BTW, where do you live? I'm stuck here in North Wichita, but spend a lot of time around Rose Hill and Andover. Gotta big client just down the hill from Sankey's.
