Wondering if anybody here has blown up their 6.7l cummins and why? .. I haven't heard much more than the head gasket.. any takers?

there have been a couple people on another forum blow them but they where running watermeth, pmt, mp8 stacks

 

yeah.. i was running them all too.. but never blew up my engine.. can you pm me the forum? I was told there were a couple here but haven't found them through the search..

Not even a hiccup from mine, very happy!

 

No i havent, just the transmission but am working on either a nice twin setup or a triple turbo setup, wont be easy but needs to get done. i dont bestow that anybody blows up their engine but if anyone has id like to learn from their mistakes..

 

juanjo322. Was it A auto that you smoked or the stick? I am coming close to exploding my clutch, actually could do it anytime. just backed it off so the truck can't do it. Once I put A tighter grip on it though it is gonna be A terror. Gonna have to dig out the For A hey y'all watch this moment. Put the 1200lbs in the back of the dually so I get the traction to go... And see if A carbon fiber drive shaft is in the cards... Like my Momma always said.... Ain't nothing wrong with that kid but the neck up....

Rhino, it was an automatic.. the edge, mp8, snow proved to be enough.. however that part of the whole truck is getting serious attention.. Going to convert the SOB, to a 48RE so that it will hold.. you going to post a vid or something of your truck?
