does anyone know the right mixture of paint thinner and my bright white paint that neeeds to be done to get a good clean spray. I am using an air sprayer with around 50psi... Trying to sand things down and clean it up myself here at some point. Ill do more custom work but just looking around trying to get a feel for what id like to do. your using a paint sprayer for like a house?

i run my spray gun (hvlp) at about 35-40 psi which is what my gun runs at. as mixture though, it should say on the can what the reduction rate is. normally they will run at 2:1, 3:1, or 4:1. but i dont know if that will change being sprayed through a house sprayer

the gun and nozzle size is going to have alot to do with it. start out with a 1:1 ration and spray a little bit on something and see if its globby or chunky or just too thick coming out, and if it is, reduce it a little more and so on until it feels nice. i dont remember right off the top of my head but i believe it was about a 2:1 ratio i liked with my gun. but the gun, nozzle size, type of paint, etc etc all come into play.
