I got a '92 F250 7.3L IDI and was wondering if i could get larger injectors or not? 4x4 light doesnt turn on when locked in and can i get a 6speed to work in the truck

 

Yes, bb code injectors are pretty popular, make sure who ever you get injectors from pressure matches them.

There is a sensor on the t-case for the 4wd light, check the wiring under the truck and make sure it's still plugged in.

You can put a 6spd on the IDI, but it takes some fab work. The transmission tunnel needs to be worked and I think the ZF6 has coolant running through it. The people who have done it claimed the benefits weren't worth the effort.

dont be afraid of the rpms. i run mine at the gov all the time on road and off.

from Ih or you can go to a junk yard find a 93 and have them rebuilt or you can re build them your self

Stay away from DPS, heard nothing but bad things about there IDI injectors. Pennsacola is supposed to be good. There is also a guy on oilburners(typ4/Russ) who sells matched BB codes for under $300 shipped.

 

i get them from local IH dealer. i can still get them. will need to figure out shipping and there is a core charge on them also.
