Default 5.9 or 6.7???

Ok gang, I really want a DRW 4x4 mega Laramie. I have an '06 QC now and I love my 5.9. I'm having one hell-of-a time finding a '06-'07 DRW Mega with a 5.9, soooo what about the 6.7? I heard lots and lots of negatives when it was new in '07 but what about '08 and '09? Or was the '07 really that bad? I really want an auto 4x4 Laramie Mega Dually...

i talked to a dodge service guy while i was wainting for my truck and he said the 6.7 gottin alot better since 07 but with all the emmissions crap on the newer diesels they will always have there problems 5.9 is his first choice. if you get a new one they say they have a 100,000 mile drive train warranty but the service guy said that was mis leading cause thats only on the engine and 36000 on the rest of it. so make sure and get it in writing.

You can buy a 6.7 cheaper that a 5.9, delete the dpf, get the same mileage as a 5.9, have a exhaust brake, a better transmission with more gears and have more power. Seems like a no brainer to me.
