Default Stolen spare

I have had 2 spares stolen from my truck, of which the last was with hi test chain and lock. Lock, chain and spare was gone. Is there a better solution to keep a spare?

rolled up under bed. In the bed is not an option.

dang I usually call triple A before I try to get those stupid things down in my own rig

You could try a couple cables, they would be harder to cut with bolt cutters than chain, and one of those roundish locks that you can't get bolt cutters on to, since I'm guessing thats how they are getting it.

cant stop a cutting torch. and the battery powered tools of today can cut most things. Its just tough to stop a thief if he tries hard enough. good luck.

If you have good tires now, put a POS spare under there and see if they take it.
