From what I've read on this site before aluminum starts to melt at 1250 degrees and I dont think you want to go over 48 lbs. of boost. Im not sure about what to set your turbo timer at I let mine cool down to 300 degrees before I shut it off. Hope this helps

Beyond 40 psi the turbo is laboring, if it makes it that far. 38-40 psi is a good range.

These trucks run hot by nature, set the back down to 1400-1500 or you will setting it off all the time.

It takes roughly 425 degrees EGT's to stop wet stacking and washing the cylinders. I would think 400 degrees would be about right.

Most experts state 1250°F up to 1300°F as a safe turbine inlet temperature range.

Temperatures over 1300° F are an indicator for running out of air or your fuel system is overfueling.
Anything above 1300° accelerates wear.
Above 1400° it's just a question of time for failure.

1600*, play on the wild side
I'd vote 1400*, the pistons won't start melting as soon as it gets past 1250*, but if it's held above that for too long obviously it will. I think however it's like a minute of constant high temps, but short bursts are ok. 300* on shutdown temp. When the engine shuts off the turbo is no longer being cooled and the temp goes way up, so lower the better. Do not want to burn the oil that's sitting in the turbo $$$
