Factory flip out towing mirror's
Anyone have a set of these that they didn't like/took off? I have a 2008 2500 6.7 cyd, and found the factory mirror's don't allow me to see around my 24 foot enclosed car hauler at all..... I know that Dodge had a flip out mirror that was an option, unortunately my truck didn't come with them.
Before I ask the stealership what they want for them, anyone have a set they took off because you didn't like them? Heated/power is what I have now, I'd like to keep both.
Or, if there's an option that fits like factory, are heated/power and will fold out please let me know, definitely want to put a set on before racing season starts!

Diesel power ran an article on exactly that last month. You can read it online I will try to post a link for you

Yup, that's exactly what I just bought. I looked everywhere for something in teh aftermarket, and I found one set, that were more then what Mopar wanted for their mirror's... go figure right?
I'll have them on the truck in a couple weeks. I'm sure this will make life ALOT easier with the trailer on the truck

You will love them, I have them on my 05 and ordered them on the 2010. I haven't found a trailer I can't see around yet with them, whether it be a large grain wagon, a tank, a camper or even my 8.5ft wide 30+ft tritoon they work great.
I have a 24 foot Continental Cargo Auto Master, picked it up for a STEAL, had to drive from CT to Knoxville and back (1880 miles) but it was well worth it, I ended up getting the trailer for about 6000 less then it's worth and it was brand new in july of 09, with less then 2500 miles on it
Driving home with it, and without the tow mirrors I learned very fast, that the regular mirror's, just don't give you the view that you need. Only time I could see behind me was if I was going around a curve on the highway.

I got mine with the truck but I've had to replace a broken one. I got it off E-Bay for just over $100. I fixing to order another one for the passenger side cause it works better than the factory one.
