ok so im test drivein this truck and it sounds like it has a exhaust leak comeing from somewhere on the left side (if standing in front) or maybe around the turbo and i can hear it in the cab. took it to a shop felt around the manifold and around the turbo. cant feel any air comein out. Anyone else experienced this before. Any help please>

 

so are you hearing a flutter sound?

try and find out where its comming from, pull out the passenger side fender liner and get a better look in there. If it its leaking u going to have to pull the downpipe to get the passenger side manifold off

 

look at where the PS lines and the alu boost tubes cross. the PS line will rub a hole in the boost tube.I have seen it a few times

 

it happened to me, except the ps line got rubbed though, not the boost tube

 

we sell almost every one we get in at the wrecking yard where I work cuse its got a hole in it from the ps hose
