New P&P Head and Intake installed
Well I took a couple days off from work to get the new head and intake installed. Based on my previous experience I chose to drive up to Fortuna, CA to Ponci’s Diesel Center for the install. As always, Brad and family make you feel like your part of the family. Brad runs a first rate operation from the clean spacious shop to the meticulous care given to each vehicle brought into the shop. Whether it’s a simple after market air filter install or working on the short block he and his mechanics treat each vehicle as if was there own.
Below are some pictures I took as we were doing the swap:
Tires off front lowered down on jack stands and body up make this real easy to get to

Old head with stock plenum:

Head off getting ready to prep block
The Brad Ponci making sure the ring are in place and everythng is in order before droping the new head on:

Some head and intake pics:

The new head and intake on:

We were able to use the same fuel lines after some hand bending to get it started for our couple of heat cycles before doing the finale retourqe and I have a few small bracket items and lines I need to fab up but it sounds SWEET !!!!! and I am totaly happy with the new head, Intake, and the install.
