Default which exhaust??

ok my sig currently has the factory exhaust on it but the tailpipe rusted off, so now i want to upgrade to a four inch system, also so it will pass inspection. the local muffler guy quoted me at $500 for a four inch turbo back system (strait piped)... that seems kinda high for just bent pipe?? but what do i know. i found on here that diamond eye sells a 4 inch system with a muffler for 300 bucks, its one of those bolt together deals has anyone on here had any experience with diamond eye or the bolt together systems alone. also could these bolt together systems be welded together ???

We sale a ton of our Expandit Kits for the 1st Gens. They have a 3" Down Pipe then the rest of the system is 4". You can get them straight piped or with a muffler.

i have a 4in MBRP with muffler and 6in chrome tip sounds great! it was about 400 shipped to the house. diesel dawg has good deals on expandit exhaust systems...Cummins Turbo Diesel 12V 94-98 cant beat the price.

idk if you have the tools/know how ... im going to make my own and just make it a bolt together like the stock set up and just go 4" straight back and im going to dump right out the side behind the cab .. i figure i will spend like 100 or less on materials .... thats also a route you can go if it works for you

Yea they are pretty simple to install had mine almost completly out when I was straight piping it and they are pretty simple and the bolt together ones hold up pretty well would rather have that if mine would have been welded would have been a pita to get the muffler out and the straight pipe in. The hardest part will prob be gettin the old exhaust out but a sawzall would do the trick
