Default PPE Boost Valve with stock turbo?

i have seen quite a few people with boost valves on their lb7's. now i read stock the turbo pushes out 18-20psi. then after the boost valve it pushes out 28-30, nearly a +10 increase. will this do damage to my turbo? or even my tranny?

If you have stock tuning it wont do any damage, you can push the stock turbo without the boost valve to over 30psi with more fuel. You might see a little more power increase with it with that alone, but don't expect anything you can feel by the butt-o-meter.

the max the turbo can take is about 32psi at sea level before it is being over spun.
