i installed a egr delet plate on my 05 lly and it threw an egr suffication code and went into limp mode. is their a way to over ride this code? what will i need were can i get it and what should it cost?

i guess i must be lucky cause ive had mine blocked for a long time and it didnt throw any codes.

 

Some Fed. trucks won't throw codes. Some programmers will block codes like PPE Xcellerator or install a finger stick it.

 

i removed my cat as soon as i got my truck in 2008 and i have been driving it for two years without a code. i just ordered an EGR blocker and am crossing my fingers it dont throw a code and i can get it in with no problems

 

ya i pulled my cat out a few years back and didnt get a code but as soon as i blocked the egr it threw a code. but good luck.
