Default Weird vibration-Check your front driveshafts!

So today I'm just cruisin', and I noticed a vibration coming from the driver's side somewhere and a clunking u-joint gone bad kinda sound whenever I came to a stop. So I pull over in a parking lot and see if I can pinpoint something obvious. This is what my driveshaft looked like going into the front diff. [IMG][/IMG]

3 out of 4 bolts remaining, 2 were finger tight. So I called up Crowfoot Dodge and they had 2 bolts in stock and they were like 8$ each. Went for a rip, vibration is gone.

Thank God, I don't even have 1000kms on my engine rebuild yet. Bearings or major front end work is the last thing I need right now. Now I know the last mechanic to have the front DS off is a total hack and I've never been back his shop for plenty of other reasons, but other than not tightening 'em properly, any ideas as to why they would come loose?

Torque specs aside, I always loctite driveline stuff like that.

Some things are just too problematic if they happen to come apart at the wrong time.
