reading in one of my magazines that Fiat is going to remove the ram name from the dodge Cummins, IT DOES SAY RUMORED.

 

No rumor it's a done deal. The truck line is spun off on it's own so when the inevitable demise of Chrysler/Dodge comes then the Jeep and Ram Truck lines can be taken with Fiat or sold off. It's a brilliant business decision and i don't blame them one bit for doing it. Besides minivans and Jeeps and trucks what does Chysler build that has a good margin? Maybe the 300 but would anyone really miss it. I'd also be willing to bet if Fiat doesn't renew the Cummins contract and starts putting IVECO diesels in the trucks their sales will drop too......

 

Like I mentioned in another post, Cummins was the only reason Dodge and Ram were selling trucks.

Yeah...they are called RAM. RAM is the brand name now.....just like JEEP...RAM 1500, RAM 2500 etc.
