Hey guys my dad has a 94 turbo diesel with A wastegated garret turbo we are wanting to how much boost and power if we take the waste gate off. And also what is the highest horsepower injectors we can run in it and injector pump for doing heavy haulin? thanks guys if you can get back to me and merry christmas!! ho-ho-ho

is it the idi engine or the powerstroke? if its just the idi i wouldnt mess with the wastegate,i have same truck,if its the idi,i just turned my pump up three flats,and added a pyrometer,a must so you dont melt the engine down,had injectors rebuilt,and i cant believe the difference,look at the first post under 6.9 & 7.3 and it tells you step by step how to do this,it takes a little time, me about an hour, but its well worth it, dont forget the pyro or you will melt down.

 

thanks bud we have turned up the pump queit a bit so we can pour out the coal haha. Thanks for the help. Do they even make bigger injectors for the 94 turbo diesel non powerstroke.

 

i have been tryin to get info on the injectors have not been able to get much,i dont know if they make any for higher performance, i have heard they do but no pysical findings. i do know there is difference in all the stock injectors,i have taken many of them apart with the different letter codes and you can see the difference. my truck originally had g injectors, a friend of mine had a set of xd with fresh rebuild on them, i put them in and seen big difference,a lot more power,maybe you should call a diesel performance shop. sorry i cant help more

 

Stay away from DPS injectors, heard nothing but bad things. I think the BB code injectors are supposed to be the best(non emissions) factory injectors.

 

do you know what the maxium horsepower a 94 7.3 turbo diesel(factory) non powerstroke can hold for the injectors?
