Default My kind of street rod!

Here

I was just thinking how I'd like to have a nice 2wd reg cab with lots of power for screwing around with and stumbled across this. I didn't know you could still get a regular cab laramie. This would be my kind of hot rod, say with 5-600 horse and a good transmission.

Oh yeah, this one would even match my 08!!

The problem you would have, would be getting
power to the ground. 2wd. I just cut my truck down
into a short box for better weight transfer.

That's the part that makes it exciting to me, would be like a burn out machine. Found a 96 Ford with the same configuration that is more realistic for me $ wise, but still gonna wait and see how the next few months go.

True, but 4x4 cost more and I would end up driving it all the time and the 2wd diesel would be different around here, everything is 4x4. I'm wanting a 100% toy, like how some guys are with their hot rods. Only drive it once in a while, always be detailed, worry about scratches kind of deal.

thats the great part about diesels i think, to know you can blow the doors off alot of hot rods and still drive it to work everyday
