Default My biggest load to date

Currently Maryland is getting quite a bit of snow. I had to come to work this morning and on the 45 mile commute, which took an hour longer than normal, I saw about seven or so cars off in the ditch. When I was taking the exit ramp off of I-95 I came across a stopped Semi on the ramp. The terminal for him is just before my job site so I figured what the heck, let me try to get him up this ramp. A Loaded double semi, 80,000# up a exit ramp that has not been plowed, about 8" of powder sitting on it. I have got to be nuts to try this but what the heck. 4 lo 1st gear to get rolling then shifted to second for a little more wheel speed. Got him up the ramp and onto the road until he could move under his own power. And for the non-believers here are the pictures.

Thought I replied to this but I guess not. I used a single chain, a grade 70 3/8" chain that was 14' long iirc. I do not carry straps in the truck, just a chain.

LOL I was just thinking about this thread this morning. I had a US Foods truck back in to my dock and they have to back down a slope into a pit that is about 4ft deep and the trucks with the 28ft trailers sit right where the incline goes up when backed in anyways it snowed about 6 in last night and he tried gettin out and just spun didnt move at all. So I thought I remember someone pulling a Semi before It can be done. Everyone at work like 10 people were out there watchin saying your truck (ctd) cant pull it out I hooked a tow strap to it put it in 4low and out we came I was pretty proud of the ol truck btw the US food truck was about half full grossed prolly 32-35k or so not too much but still was proud.
