Default 2 94 Ford F-350 questions

First question - the other night the 'Water In Fuel' light came on. What does this mean and what do I need to do?

There is a yellow marker lamp on the front /side one is burned out and i'll be darned if I can figure out how to get it out.

Any help with my lame questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Water in fuel, means just that. There should be a yellow lever near your fuel filter, you need to turn that lever and let some fuel/water out of the filter housing. Shut the truck off first.

The chrome trim is attached to the orange lights on the corners, there are a couple of nuts on the backside of the firewall holding the whole assembly in. It may be easier to remove the whole thing to get at the light plug, but fair warning, on a diesel it's tough because the battery boxes are in the way.

OK, No manual with the truck so I bought a Chilton and it does not even mention the water in fuel thing or how to drain it. Can someone please tell me where to find that under the hood? (if it is indeed under the hood)

So then your truck is a powerstroke and has a 5 speed correct? You've found it already, but in case someone else stumbles across this thread, it is under the lid on top of the engine.

Yes indeed it is. It is a little yellow handle that is not yellow anymore but diesel black. Wiping it off showed it to be indeed yellow.
