Ok so...i have a guy that seems to be really interested in my truck. I dont really wana sell it but...if the money is right i can always by another one the only problem is i dont know what its worth so here are some pics of the truck! Please look past the dirt i drive it every day. I want to know what yall thank my truck is worth!!! It has about 217,000 miles and its pretty straight. A few dings here and there but nothing major. Was painted a few years back. BE HONEST!!! Thanks guys!!

 

I always find it hard to put a dollar value on old trucks like this...the spread between good condition and poor condition narrows down quite a bit the older the truck gets, and the market is also a lot different from one state to the next. Your truck looks like it really is in great shape and if it's been well maintained throughout its life, I personally would offer you about $7000 for it. Don't shoot me if that's not what you wanted to hear though.

 

I think it's worth that.....thing is you don't want to sell it and he wants it...so it's only for sale for the price you want to sell it for. You are in the drivers seat here so to speak so you can get what you want out of it.

Yea 7000 is really what i was thankin so you have not disappointed!!! Thanks guys! I was thankin that if I sold the truck I could put a 4bt in my other truck and get awsome milage!! That was my plan befor I bought this truck in the first place so maybe things will work out. Im gona try and talk to the guy today. Ill let yall know how it goes.

Yea 6 isnt bad ether but KBB really isnt a great source in my opinion. Thanks tho! I called the guy interested in the truck and told him 7500 (thanking he was gona try and talk me down) and he said great!! So idk whats gona happin next, I sent him some pics for his son to look at and we will see how its goes from there i guess. Im excited now tho and hope he gets it so I can work on putting a 4bt in my other truck!! Its an 84 (Dodge ofcourse) w150 reg. cab short bed stepside!! Really nice i have missed driving it! It has a 440 BIG BLOCK in it right now and its fun to drive but it SUCKS gas like no tomorrow! Anyway i'll keep yall posted thanks again!!
