Default tug of war!

ok idk if this is the right place for a tug of war thread but nyways im gonna be havin a tug of war with a 2002 chevy 2500 with the d-max.... i need some tips/ techniques to help me win. im already gonna put about 2000lbs in the bed.. to much/little? anyother things i can do? its gonna be on dry pavement and i was thinking 4X4 low and pull as hard as i can while trying not to lose traction.... sound good?

I wouldn't do 4x4 low, your asking to snap something. All you have to do is get him to spin the wheels, and your good to go.

I would go with 4 low we have never had a prob with it, and unless the dmax has tierod sleeves he will probably break so you should have no problem winning

If your truck sits higher in the rear that helps alot.

make sure your hook point is as high as it can be (higher then his) and use a short strap. 4-low, build some boost with teh brake before you let off of it. Dont smoke your tires, just a little bit of scratching seems to work best. Remember, this is not a power thing, its a traction thing.
