This had to be some kind of prefab kit, this guy and his buddies work at an RV manufacturing plant and do this by trade or this guy's a damn genius. I would find it hard to believe that one guy could have this skills to do all the work to build this from scratch. I've also never seen a ready built RV trailer stripped down unless he pulled it from salvage. This guy would have to be a master craftsman in Aluminum Welding, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, lamination and cabinetry just as a starting list of trades that this would cover.

I agree. I dont doubt the guy has skills, but some of that stuff is camper only. I havent ever seen that stuff on the shelves of any store. he has connections.

still, it is very impressive.

I wonder if the cost of the trailer was in that $9,300 total cost

that's very cool. even if it is a prefab kit i don't think i'd have the skills or patience to pull it off like he did.

Yeah I tend to agree. There's no way he had all the skill, knowledge, and access to the right parts to build that rig as good as the factory.

I like changing my oil, tinkering with my truck, changing starters & alternators as much as the next guy but this is a little extreme for the do-it yourselfer.

How many months did this take? I like the idea of custom built, but this doesnt make a lot of sense to me.
