Angry Does a Cummins come with a license to be an ***!

Why is it the majority of cummins owners feel they have to try and blow smoke in my face because I drive a ford? I'm not one of those brand prejudiced jerks, I like all trucks, I would have bought a cummins had one been available in my price range. I'm not going to label a group of people and say all dodge owners are like this, but so far only dodge owners are like this. I have never had a chevy owner or even another ford owner with a PSD pull this crap. It's getting old fast and my patience is wearing thin.

Sometimes I think it does. Here, read all about it and add your comments to the list.

Probably cause they're all inmature. I done it for a little bit, then realized I live in this small town, and it craps the engine and oil up with too much soot. So no more for this Dodge cowboy.

That's really too bad but honestly, I get it more from the "kids" in the jacked up Fords - making more noise than smoke mind you.

Ashame really.

This isnt really true - there are morons driving all brands. Around here, its the duramax guys that seem to have something to prove.

Mostly because the 12v cummins is the Honda Civic of the diesel world. They were quite a few of them made, they are older and therefore cheaper and easiest(and cheapest) to put a straightpipe and turn the fuel screws up on.

I agree. Where I live there are Stokers, Dmax's, and Cummins galore. As far as I can tell everyone that drives one around here is an idiot. I just don't understand. Is it so hard to be responsible? But I guess if you have money it doesnt matter?? I love my cummins. I bought it for its reliability compared to the other two, not saying the other two aren't. But seriously just because you "think" you have a bad *** truck and you "think" you throw a lot of smoke doesn't give you the right to treat others like **** or they don't exist.

Like rkadcock said, we all just want to get there in one piece. Its not you that you have to watch out for, its the rest of the idiots that some how managed to get their hands on a drivers license. I also hate the bad name that Cummins and all diesel enthusiasts are getting because of these rich, stupid, immature, kids with loads of mommy and daddys money. I love having the power to go around people and stuff but not to be an *** about it. I also won't cut anyone off because its dangerous for both of us and possibly more than that. I wouldn't want someone to do it to me so I won't do it to them.

Now if someone is riding my *** I do get upset. I have a 6 inch lift on my truck. One day at a stop light a lady in her fancy cadi got right on my *** and I couldn't see her headlights so I took and threw it in reverse and backed up just a little. The look on her face was priceless. I know it sounds mean but she stayed away from me after that. I have done it 3 times since then and I think it teaches some manners.

I also read about the mirrors and I think they should be put down if your not USING them within reasonable limits of course. I understand the manual mirrors and having to fix them every time. I have them and while I don't tow I leave them down. Its a personal safety issue for me. I like to be able to see the best that I can and the mirrors help with that. So call me stupid but at least I know I can see at the very best. But if we are going to change this persona that we have been given we are going to have to change ourselves fist and hope others follow. I love my truck and am proud to say that Im 20 years old and in 5 years of driving I have had one ticket and no accidents. Just because some people drive a diesel doesn't mean that we aren't responsible and I hate that we are getting the image that we are a bunch of rude *** holes who hog the road and try to cause accidents. I am deeply troubled by this.
