Default loose #6 exhaust rocker valves and pushrod

wheeling the 2004 dodge today and i start to hear a tapping noise, oil pressure never dropped below 40 psi oil not discolored or smelling of anything. exhaust has a loping noise sound like top end we removed the valve cover found all rockers had proper play except number 6 exhaust had sizable play , turned engine over with cover off push rod and rocker move the same on all cyclinders just # 6 exhaust has alot of play between the rocker and the valve spring bridge, pushrod seems to be straight lifter seems to be ok no metal in the oil, valve springs seem to be stuck down just a little valves are not touching the piston, any ideas

Sounds like you dropped a valve. Pull off all of the rockers and check the valves out.

Do you have stock valve springs still?

It could be a valve seat. Are all valves on #6 sitting at the same height without the rockers on?
