I got a paper with the quad saying something about your module comes with the lates firmwire please do not use any updates befor 07/09/09 this will cause your add. to malfunction and it does so what do i do i would like to be able to download tunes with turbo timer highidle all the good stuff but all the up dates have dates befor 07.9.09 and they dont work

I am guessing you do not have the Pulse Monitor?
Don't know what to tell you about the Adrenaline not working with tunes prior to 07/09/09 as I have an older one and am not plagued with this issue. Hopefully someone else will chime in with more knowledge.

In all reality, all the tunes deliver the same power on the dyno, according to Quad anyway. Since all the tunes are free to download, I would suggest starting on the 1000 series with the features that you want and go from there.
What was the problem with installing the tunes anyway?

You can always start with the 1000 tunes and if that isn't enough move to the 2000 tunes. Just look for the features your looking for and download it and give it a try. It's pretty easy to download something different if your not happy with whatever you downloaded. Just have some fun with it and try some different tunes.

The difference between the two from what I understand is how early the power kicks in. The 1000 tune is more mild mannered around town compared to the 2000 tune as I recall.

To really take advange of this box you need the Pulse Monitor.

I definitely concur, and wish it were only offered that way really. It may seem like a waste for those who already have gauges, but the features it offers make it really worth while. Unfortunately it's quite a bit more expensive to purchase after the fact...
